10-inch Hanging Baskets ($15.00)

Bacopa - Beautiful abundant flowering over dark green leaves.  They have  hundreds of non-stop blooms all season until first frost.  This plant has excellent branching and heat tolerance.  Symmetric five petals with yellow center.  It has a uniform growth habit and likes full sun to partial shade.

Colors:  Blue, White

 

 

Begonia Tuberous - Brilliant vibrant colors.  A large upright plant.  Needs shade.

Colors:  Mocca Orange, Mocca Pink, Mocca Scarlet, Mocca Yellow

Begonia Dragonwing - A large vigorous habit, smoother leaf edges, heat tolerant, with attractive consumer appeal. Needs partial shade.

Colors: Pink, Red

Boston Fern (This basket only - $18) - A tender fern that grows in a tight clump and produces arching, feather-like fronds up to 4 feet long. Needs partial shade or full shade.

 

Fuchsia - Striking flowers open in early to late summer in many wonderful shades.  Hanging blossoms form individually or in small cluster.  Stamens protrude and are very decorative.   Tolerates deep shade to part sun

Colors:  Pink/Purple, Red/Purple, Red/Red, Red/White

 

Impatiens (Double) - Loads of  blooms with big impact.    Needs Shade.

Colors:  Cherry, Stardust Pink, Purple, Rose, White

Impatiens (New Guinea) - These are the best series on the market for baskets.  Huge blooms. Morning sun.

Colors:  Lavender Glow, Orange, Tropical Peach, Pink, Purple Star, Raspberry Rose, Bright Salmon

Ivy Geranium - Trailing plant with bright green deeply lobed leaves and clusters of vivid flowers.  Sun to partial shade.

Colors:  Pink, Ruby Red, Dark Lavender, White w/ Red Eye

Lobelia - Characterized by its compact and prostrate spreading plant habit; purplish green stems; numerous flowers; long flowering period; tolerance to high and low temperatures. Full sun to part shade

Colors:  Hot Waterblue, Periwinkle Blue, Waterfall Blue

 

Petunia (Supertunia mini) - Will continue to flower from both the new growth as well as the old growth, providing an absolutely gorgeous basket that never goes "bald".  Needs sun and takes heat too!

Colors:  Bubblegum, Hot Pink, Lavender Vein, Midnight Blue, Red, Violet Skirt

 

Petunia (Million Bells) - Self branching habit, self cleaning, heat tolerant, needs partial sun.

Colors:  Cherry Rose, Orange, Purple, Red, Yellow
Wave Petunias - Self cleaning, continuously bloom without pinching or deadheading and can tolerate a wide range of growing conditions.

Colors:  Blue, Pink, Purple, Red, Violet, White
Double Wave Petunias - More mounded with a more controllable spreading habit than low-growing Wave varieties. Plants fill out well in the center and stay full all season.

Colors:  Blue Velvet, Purple
Portulaca -  Needs full sun, Tolerates dry soil; Height: 1-2 inches; Flower size: 1/4 inch across; Flowering time: June to August

Colors:  Cinderella, Rose, Scarlet, Yellow

Snapdragon, Trailing - Needs full sun; Height: 4-12 inches; Flower size: 1/4 inch long; Flowering time: June to August

Colors:  Yellow

Scaevola - Fantastic, continuous blooming.  Turns blue in full sun.

Colors:  Blue, Deep Blue, Pink, White

Torenia - Partial shade to moderate light, half day is best.  Beautiful with pointed leaves.

Colors:  Wave Blue

Trailing Periwinkle - Full sun, drought tolerant.  Beautiful with pointed leaves.

Colors:  Strawberry, Deep Orchid, Rose Halo, White

Verbena - Needs full sun; The Verbena's are great hanging basket plants. The flower clusters of some varieties have a pleasant soft fragrance; Flowering time: May to September.

Colors:  Burgundy, Plum Velvet, Lavender, Red Velvet, White
